How are we growing?

Dear LFP Family and Friends,

Recently I encouraged all of us to consider our entrance into this season as an opportunity for a reset.  September is a perfect time to ask ourselves, "how do I need to grow this year?" Or "what can I let go of, or add that will move me toward being a person who reflects more the love of Jesus?"

Over the last couple years our Adult Connection and Formation team has led and supported opportunities for adults to connect in relationship and grow in their faith. We have experimented with launching Practicing the Way groups, helped the Men's Breakfast relaunch, supported Sisterhood studies, and programmed classes and retreats. All of these activities continue to be good opportunities for growth.

In it all, we've realized that as a church we need to discern a deeper, more integrated way of pursuing discipleship and formation together. So we've intentionally taken a little step back to think about why we are doing what we are doing, how it is connected, and what formation in Christ can look like in our community in the years ahead.

To that end, an important piece of this discernment is knowing where YOU are at. What spiritual practices are regular for you? Which habits do you commit to most? Where are areas where you feel led, supported, encouraged by the leadership at LFPPC, and where do you sense the need for something more from our team?

These kind of questions and more are part of a survey tool we are using from Renovo to help us hear from you what we need to know!

Would you set aside 20-25 minutes to give us valuable feedback so that our team can lead us in this next season of ministry at LFPPC?

Look for an email on Sunday with the link for the anonymous online survey. We will also pass out QR codes at church. Someone will be available to help and answer your questions. Our preference for ease and efficiency and less error is to have everyone take the online survey. However, we will also have paper surveys available upon request.

Thanks for considering this important opportunity to share with us.

I look forward to hearing how spiritual practices shape your life, and to look at ways we can support you and focus on our growth together.

With joy in the journey,

Pastor Jeff
