Community Of Jesus Followers

We love Lake Forest Park, we’re committed to its success, and we've found our home serving and making an impact in Jesus' name. We are a diverse community of people who have discovered that following Jesus is the best way to live life. We’re convinced that Jesus is relevant to the issues we face in an increasingly complex world, that He has something to say about how to navigate life, and when we follow His lead, we flourish. We want to be generous with this flourishing life we live, so we invite you to check us out, follow Jesus along with us, and find out for yourself how He can make a difference in your life.

Deep Roots & Adaptability

Founded in 1925 and established by 1941, our church has deep roots in the community of Lake Forest Park. Our history is a blend of tradition and forward-thinking, and our mid-century modern sanctuary stands as a testament to both our legacy and our adaptability. While we cherish our historical foundation, we are also committed to meeting the needs of our congregation and the wider community in a contemporary, relevant way.

We are a member of the Presbyterian Church (USA) and the Northwest Coast Presbytery.

“Growing Young” Culture

Our church is multi-generational, creating a vibrant and dynamic atmosphere where people of all ages can connect and grow together. This cross-generational bond is a core part of our identity, and we celebrate it through various programs and events. Our “Growing Young” initiative is one way we ensure that every generation is valued and has a place within our community.

People connect in church because of the relationships they build, not because of the building itself. We believe in being a service-oriented church that welcomes people at every stage of life. Our doors are always open, whether you're here for a Sunday service, a Rotary Club meeting, or an AA session. We strive to be a community center where everyone feels at home.

Authentic & Welcoming

Our church is nestled among the trees right by a lake, offering a serene and welcoming environment. We embrace a casual, informal atmosphere, having dropped many of the formalities that can sometimes create barriers. While our building boasts a beautiful mid-century modern aesthetic, we are mindful that our website reflects the genuine warmth and authenticity of our community.

Bright Future Built On A Solid Foundation

Our church has a rich history and a promising future. Many of our members have been with us for 30-40 years, contributing to a strong sense of legacy and continuity. Yet, we remain flexible and open to change, always asking, “What is God doing in this community?” and “How can we best serve where God has planted us?”
