Friday Food Packs for Kids
Hunger Doesn’t Take the Weekend Off
“The generous will themselves be blessed, for they share their food with the poor.” - Proverbs 22:9
Many students in our community face hunger outside of school hours, relying on school lunches as their main source of nutrition. Without adequate food, they experience stress, fatigue, and difficulty concentrating. Our goal is to ensure these students can participate fully in after-school activities and return to school on Monday ready to learn.
Our Ministry
Lake Forest Park Presbyterian Church’s neighborhood outreach ministry provides supplemental food during the school year for secondary students in need.
